Your subscription plan is what powers your creating: it sets how many Creation Points you receive each month and which features you can use. This guide covers the essentials of managing your plan, your point allowance, and billing.
Your plan and what it includes
Each plan comes with a monthly Creation Points allowance and access to a set of features. The more you plan to generate — chapters, images, narration, one-click works — the more a higher allowance helps. You can manage your plan from your account dashboard under Subscription.

How your point allowance renews
- Points renew at the start of each billing cycle.
- Unused monthly points generally don't roll over — each cycle starts fresh.
- Bonus points are different. Bonus points (including top-ups) are permanent and don't expire, so they're a useful buffer alongside your monthly allowance. See Understanding Creation Points for how the two are spent together.
Need more points mid-cycle?
If you run low before your allowance renews, you can top up points without changing your plan. Top-ups add bonus points, which stick around until you use them. This is handy for a busy month when you'd rather not move up a tier permanently.
Changing or cancelling your plan
- Upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Subscription tab in your account dashboard.
- Cancel anytime from the same tab. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for — nothing is cut off mid-cycle.
Managing billing
You handle subscriptions, upgrades, top-ups and cancellation from the self-serve Subscription area of your account dashboard. If you're using the BookZeta mobile app, billing and checkout open in your phone's browser to complete payment securely.
Common questions
What happens to my work if I cancel or downgrade? Your projects remain yours. Downgrading or cancelling changes your future point allowance and feature access, but the works you've already created stay with your account, and you keep access through the end of your paid period.
Do leftover monthly points carry into the next month? No — monthly points reset each cycle and generally don't roll over. Bonus points from top-ups are the exception and remain until used.
