Synopsis

After a rainstorm, young Sam discovers a rainbow he can walk on. The soft, bouncy path lifts him above the treetops, where he meets a songbird, a butterfly, and a pony. Together they glide over hills and clouds until they find a little duck who has lost her family. Sam leads his new friends in helping the duck return home, and the grateful duck family joins their happy journey. Sam learns that kindness makes every adventure sweeter. As sunset glows, the rainbow carries him back to the meadow, where he waves goodbye to his friends, knowing the magical afternoon will stay with him forever. This gentle, imaginative story celebrates friendship, compassion, and the joy of helping others, with vivid rainbow imagery and a warm, cozy tone that will charm young readers.
