Night Shift

In the oppressive corridors of an overburdened medical institution steeped in societal neglect, where the forgotten and marginalized endure quiet erasure, Kayla Bennett uncovers vanishing blood supplies that expose the grotesque underbelly of institutional indifference.

Her tense discoveries draw in allies like Nadia, Marcus, Ray and Beth, revealing vampires who thrive amid cultural fractures and human frailty, their predations normalized by administrative apathy toward the uninsured and elderly.

Discrepancies mount into horrors of drained bodies filed away without trace, absent reflections piercing the night routine, until confrontations with holy relics force a chaotic reckoning amid alarms and chaos, though the system persists unchanged.
