Synopsis

In the skyborne metropolis of Zephyra, citizens glide on wind-channelling platforms and the annual Aether Tournament decides the city's protectors. Kaito, a reckless orphan from the lower districts, dreams of proving his worth as a windbender. His rival is Reika, the disciplined champion bound by the ancient Wind Warden code. When Kaito accidentally unleashes a forbidden wind technique during a match, he attracts the attention of a rogue Warden named Dras, who plans to corrupt the tournament to awaken a dormant sky beast. Manipulating the bracket, Dras forces Kaito and Reika into brutal battles against possessed contestants. Forced to team up, they confront a shared past—Reika's secret with Dras haunts her. Amid floating shrines and shattered platforms, Kaito must master his volatile power while learning that true strength lies in understanding the wind's rhythm, not raw force. Their mid-air alliance leads to a climactic struggle inside the Great Vortex, the city's elemental core. After a stunning counter-vortex defeat of Dras, Kaito earns the title of Wind Warden. But a mysterious girl named Hana appears, holding a crystal shard from the sky beast's heart, hinting that Dras was merely a pawn. A new storm is brewing beyond the clouds.
