New on BookZeta: Write Movie Scripts, TV Scripts & Stage Plays with AI

Scripts have arrived on BookZeta. Alongside novels, comics, and children's books, you can now create three new formats: movie scripts, TV series scripts, and stage plays. Every one comes out in proper industry layout: Courier type, scene headings, centered character names, indented dialogue, parentheticals, and transitions, all applied automatically.

Three new formats

  • Movie scripts. Feature-length screenplays from 25 to 150 pages. Scene sluglines like INT. COFFEE SHOP - DAY, action lines, and dialogue, exactly where a reader expects them.
  • TV series scripts. Single episodes and pilots from 15 to 70 pages, sized for half-hour or hour-long shows. Group episodes into a series and reuse the same cast with the Series Bible.
  • Stage plays. Act and scene headings, stage directions, and dialogue formatted for the rehearsal room instead of the camera.

Two ways to write one

Quick Mode works the way it does for novels: describe the story, pick a genre and page count, and the AI plans the scenes and writes the whole script. Around three pages per scene, structured from opening image to final beat.

Writer Studio is for working writers. Draft scene by scene in a screenplay editor that knows the difference between action and dialogue, cycle element types with a keystroke, and call on the AI only when you want a suggestion, a rewrite, or a scene generated from your beat. You can also auto-generate a full draft and then rewrite it line by line.

Read the result in the online reader, where the contents menu lists your actual sluglines instead of chapter numbers.

Exports that behave like scripts

Scripts skip the novel trimmings on purpose. No illustrated cover, no synopsis page. You get a typed Courier title page and a correctly indented script, exported as PDF, EPUB, or DOCX. The DOCX opens cleanly in Word or Google Docs if a producer, professor, or contest wants edits in a shared file. The details live in Exporting your script.

Where to start

Head to Create a Story, choose Movie Script, Series Script, or Play Script, and give the AI a premise. The knowledge base has a full walkthrough in Creating movie, TV and play scripts.

Your logline has been sitting in a notes app long enough. Give it 90 pages.
